About two months ago, a new package was developed by one of our peer's, Himanshu Dutta. It is called "Feature Select". So first thing that arises in anyone mind's is What is Feature Select?
Basically, it is a package that uses various optimization algorithms to select features from a numerical-tabular dataset, for a given ML algorithm, now How does it help?
It improves the accuracy of the algorithm for given set of data in the program, making the work of programmer easy, and less time consuming. But if that is not enough to convince you to give it a go, then you might think Why should anyone use it?
Well it is one of it's kind that enables the programmers/users to work with multiple optimized algorithms, most class based Machine Learning models over a range of libraries, and is compatible with all types of platform.
